A letter to a soldier
Hello, dear veteran of the great Patriotic War! I want to congratulate You on this great holiday – victory Day. This war was won by You and your contemporaries, all those people who fought on the front. Many of them didn't come back, and so their feats are truly heroic. They gave their lives so that other people lived on earth in peace, happy and love their great Motherland.
Now many veterans of the great Patriotic War many years, they went through a lot during his hard long life. Many of them were in the war, on the verge of death, but still they managed to survive. Unfortunately, veterans every year becomes less and less. Needless to say, contemporaries of this terrible tragedy, survived not so much: a huge number of people were killed in the war, some died from wounds received from the enemy. He killed many women, children and the elderly. The enemy was very ill – spared no one, killing all life in its path.
My grandfather also fought at the front, but he went through the war, got a lot of medals, and returned home unharmed. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us, but he left a good memory – his reward – a reminder of his glorious deeds is stored at home. I am proud of my grandfather – he was a good man and a brave defender of the Motherland.
Veterans who fought for their country and conquered it, were not just ordinary men – they were heroes. They did not give offense to their hometown, and showed that the power of Russia – in the unity of the people, willpower and will to win. They gritted his teeth and walked to the end. The motto of the time was: "everything for front, everything for victory". These people gave their all and won. That's what love of country! That's what the unity of the people! And I hope this is not the last victory of Russia. A lot of them – the most different: in sports, in art, in movies... but a lot of there are still any cases in which you can win, but this was not a war.
